I miss cross country skiing already 🙂 Last day of the Cypress Nordic 2024-2025 Season. I was tired and happy on my skate skis. More tired than usual because i was carrying 2kg of water and coffee cups 🙂 for our summit picnic 🙂 ! I don't ski with a backpack normally.

LOL. Apparently the organizers changed the Payak course in 2024 to make the Mountain View section less difficult but then they added 2 switchbacks which involve 2 additional hills at the very end. Everybody was so happy to be cross country skiing yesterday November 24, 2024 at Cypress! Snowing lightly at 9am, temperature was between 0 and 2 when we started! I was on classic. At 9am it was fine for both classic and skate!

That's a wrap on the 23-24 xc ski season (22 times! Pas pire 4 a season w/50% of normal snowfall). Perfect bluebird spring conditions. Spring #XCSkiing is the best #Skiing 🙂 . Time to remove the fenders from my cross bike & train for the Cypress Challenge (riding up Cypress fun for the whole bicycling family 🙂!) in July for Pancreatic Cancer. Who's going to ride with me?
