Introducing “Fresh Phosphenes”, the third small works painting from a new series of paintings on paper.
For this series, I gave myself a strict time limit and limited resources to create a new work of art. The hope was that these limitations would kickstart the creative process, deter overthinking, and keep me in the moment.
These paintings were not touched up or added to after the time limit, when time ran out, they were considered finished.

Teal Denial is from a new 14x11” series of paintings on paper. For this series, I gave myself a strict time limit and limited resources to create a new work of art.
The purpose of these limitations was to prompt new ideas, to create without overthinking, and to stay in the moment. They were not touched up or added to after the time limit, when time ran out, work stopped.
