This week #ATPfm boffins talked about browsers and the Chrome vs Safari thing. In my daily doings, I find that some things work with Safari and some with Chrome but most with both. I keep Brave about for Chrome internals without Chrome telemetry and prying. But it is annoying.
Remember the promise of Java, “Write once, test everywhere”. The poor web developers are in that same pickle. But they seem to skip the “test everywhere" part.
