Die ik nu zelf aanbreng op oude jeans. Bij een zaak voor boeren en tuinders hadden ze wel werkbroeken die ook voor vrouwen geschikt waren. Zeiden ze. Maar daar kon je niet mee bukken omdat anders… Afijn, wieden of zo leek mij geen pretje.

Trouwens, hoe lang vrouwen hebben moeten wachten op binnenzakken in hun jassen!

For the EU folks: BonPrix sells women’s jeans (bpc is the brand) with normal pockets! I wear their jeans exclusively. Their online shop is available in most EU countries.

@60pencilgirl I live in a care home, and for reasons that should be obvious, most of the employees wear cargo pants. In summer, some of the women wear skirts with pretty large pockets ("cargo skirts"? is that a thing?) instead.

Yes, #WomenDeserveRealPockets, and I'd seriously prefer to not to have to shop for men's trousers or to sew my own just to have enough pocket space to fit my phone, my keys and my wallet.

Or heck, just to have pockets in the first place, a ton of the ones on women's clothing these days are *fake* for crying out loud!

And no, a handbag is not the solution!

The only way manufacturers will put real pockets in women’s clothes is if we don’t buy clothes with make-believe pockets or no pockets.

The thing about pockets is we will only get pockets in clothes if we stop buying clothes without pockets. Until then, the extra effort involved in putting in pockets is of negligible value to clothing manufacturers.

Wouldn't it be nice if a new clothing brand created women's clothing specifically with real pockets in mind? Preferably pockets that are big enough to fit a 7" tablet or phone.
