Programming for me was a lot about "not reinventing the wheel". Especially in Open Source it was about finding the code that already does that, and then implement it. So you get well tested parts and you mainly write the glue that brings them together to something new.
I believe with LLMs the research part of "does that already exist" will be even less thought about.
This is the devs Version of "Flood the Zone with shit".
