In late 2023, I considered trying to create a "wiki alliance" for webcomic wikis, inspired by the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance (NIWA).
I thought about it for close to five minutes before deciding I didn't have nearly enough spoons to do it.
Instead, I created something much smaller: the Webcomic Independent Wiki List. Unlike NIWA, there is no organization backing this list: it's just a single page where I link to wikis that I like.
WCIWL officially launched two years ago today. I now link to 12 awesome wikis about webcomics.

17 years. Proud Wikimedian. Much to reflect on. My Wiki CV is open for all to see (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Rohini). All of the things in it have stories behind them, some documented, some undocumented, and some documented but obscure. I hope I can get around to writing them down soon.
