  3. 🚴‍♀️🚴🇮🇪 Bike Week 2026 runs from 9–17 May across #Ireland, with the National #Transport Authority (NTA) announcing hundreds of #cycling events nationwide. All 31 local authority areas are involved, working with sports partnerships.

    Events include family rides, community cycles, adaptive MTB sessions, learn-to-cycle and repair workshops, heritage/greenway rides and school events.

    Anne Shaw, NTA CEO, said engagement has been strong and encouraged participation.

    Highlights include adaptive mountain bike spin in #Wicklow, generational Greenway #cycle in #Limerick, #Donegal Bay race, #bike doctor in #Cork and Pedal Power festival in #Dublin.
