So I assigned two, yes, TWO Technitians to a Customer yesterday for this goddam CE+ and then "Update Tuesday" hits; oh, and Chrome decides it's a good idea to issue an update as well.
I get today's report, and every man and his dog needs updates applied!
Now I did try saying, "But these are inside the 14-day period" (You're allowed out-of-date stuff within 14 days of the test), but of course the customer can't get their head around not having a clean sheet.

@nitpicking @StopForTea @gorskon Since #Science is #EvidenceBased and your handle is 'nitpicking', my first impulse was to not play #WhackAMole semantics. But the concept of #methodolatry is worthy of some discussion.
#MastersOfTheAtomicDomain (chemists) have seen methods come and go over the centuries - even millennia if you start with Democritus.
Chemists who 'idolize' methods that they were trained on, and said new methods "are not sporting", are rightly seen as #dinosaurs.
