a few days ago a #dutch judge ruled #doorbell #cameras illegal if pointed at #public space. since then someone is paying a lot of #bots & #trolls in nl media to turn this into a "#privacy is going 2 far and impedes our #security". morons. it's not about the cameras themselves, but only about them pointed at public spaces. no one talks about how these doorbells are not owned by they houseowners but by #oligarchs and hostile #governments, who have city-wide networks now for tracking dissidents.

Heute gleich zwei Leute. Denen ich nichts getan habe. Eine Person davon hat dort nachher mit heftigen Beleidigungen um sich geschmissen. 1. The ones who understand that movies must adapt the original works to create something that approximates what's on the page and are thankful they got a movie.
2. The ones who go entirely apoplectic because the movie "took liberties" and "totally destroyed" the work and "How dare they do that to [insert title here]!"
