I have no idea what to make of today, really.
Our pinned post on Facebook got shared into a DID fake claiming group of some kind and so the page is crawling with trolls. A new notification pops up every few minutes.
It doesn’t get to me a lot of the time, but for now I wish these people would just leave well enough alone.

1. #moderation is a cost center for them. if you want to make money, you want to cut costs. therefore, it's cheaper for them to say "freeze peach!", decimate the #mod dept, and let #bigotry and #disinfo run wild
2. we say "don't feed the #trolls" but the unfortunate human baseline behavior is that controversy drives clicks, eyeballs, engagement. therefore, bigots and disinfo is *profitable*
