My favourite #plantoftheday at #Westonbirt was this amazingly eye-catching #rhododendron augustinii, with glowing violet blue flowers. As a species, it can be quite variable, but the Westonbirt specimens are spectacular.

We are off for a nice wander around #Westonbirt Arboretum today. We haven't been for a while, so it'll be nice to see what's looking good. 😊🌿🌟

If you can only grow one shrub in your garden, then I would recommend the #Japanese milk tree or #Neoshirakia #japonica.

We had taken our house dragon Dimitri along for an outdoor photo shoot, and he simply had to get a picture sitting in it.

Reasonably slow growing and #spectacular in the #autumn.
