    @vees The wind vector map is from an open source weather station package called WeeWX weewx.com . The vector diagram shows a good wind summary to fit within Mastodon limits, but it also has other wind graphs. You are correct that the vector would be hidden for due north/south winds, but the wind rarely stays in one direction here! #weathertools #weewx
