I did some different dock testing on the #MangoPiQuad. I am running #Debian 12 with Openbox. So far my base RAM usage with #CairoDock is around 30 to 32% with a basic dock and system monitoring widget.
I tried #Plank for a hot minute. Plank doesn’t have widgets like Cairo, so I lost the system monitoring function. I paired Plank with #Conky and was averaging 40 to 44% RAM use.
I looked into #Wbar but that will be for another day. I too tired to do text configurations.
