After writing nearly 3,000 words today, I wrote these two words... and they're most bittersweet pair of words I've ever written. 🥹

Sitting at ~186,000 words, the first draft of book four—the final book in The Way of the Wielder series—is complete! ❤️

1354 words tonight. Not too bad, I suppose.

Although that's a bit inflated because near the end, I hit a branching point. There are a few hundred words in Option A and a few hundred in Option B, and one of them will *definitely* go away. [Edit: And my counting system counts the words in *both* of them, which is not exactly accurate in terms of "what will be valid tomorrow".]

Anyway. #WasWriting, and got some stuff written.

Awright, fine. I've spent definitely over 4 hours today on #writing, and I just do not have the brain anymore. I got a bunch done. Time to pack it in. (And *promise* myself to write some narrative stuff, not background material, tomorrow.) #AmWriting, or at least #WasWriting.

Of course I was two hours into that session when my laptop decided it was time to insist it needed the new version of "me not writing"
