  1. Looked away from the @WiGLEnet stats for a minute and the total files parsed count jumped from 7,999,909 to 8,000,156!

That’s a LOT of files. I appear to have contributed some 20,000 of them since 2004.

  2. Holy cow - just noticed that #ccie4526 has passed 50,000,000 geolocated APs on @WiGLEnet, continuing to dominate the number 2 position on the big board!

Not bad for nearly 23 years of contributions!

  6. Wigle.net, just a little bit!

    19 Years in the game, 1,197,297 #wifi #dotsOnMaps

My first upload was 6/18/2004, from a Compaq iPaq running WiFiFoFum, an external serial Garmin GPS, and a handcrafted CSV file.

It’s been a lot of fun watching the community grow, the rigs advance, and the team at Wigle.net keeping us happy with an awesome app and a place to stash our finds!

    Cheers to another 19!

  7. Going slow to go fast -- #warwalk!

Another segment of a well worn path my wife and I have been walking for 20+ years netted 82 new APs with the #hackerBoxes #WiSpy. After picking up 32 new ones just a couple days ago.

I think I bent the case a bit more, as it was 84 degrees out :)
