Having slashed the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) last year (mostly because works were poorly delivered with much less government oversight than local authority and housing association run schemes)…who does #Labour envision will be coordinating and delivering this extra funding for #WarmHomes?
Where is the trained workforce ready to deliver at speed across all areas of the country and with the required attention to detail? I’m really not sure. Boom in online retrofit training is meaningless.

#Homeowners in old poorly #insulated #houses may be #eligible for a #grant or #freeinsulation to improve a #freezing #home. There appears to be a #povertytrap. It seems you may have to have an #Energyperformancecertificate to #access all sorts of help. An #EPC is only valid for 10 yrs & may cost up to £120. That's #money many won't have. Looks like no-money-no-help!
