They took off and disappeared over the Gorse on the right, the Hare ran towards me, panicked then ran off to the right...when I reached the far corner, I turned right, the Hare was almost at my feet, then wasn't! 😂

A wee #walk story. Almost every time I go out on one of my patch walks recently, I scare up a family of partridges, I never get a good chance to ID them but probably Greys, 👍️

Yesterday day was new brakes on the car day!!! £££ C'est la vie, we live in the boonies and need it. So we went for one of our usual & favourite walks in Blairgowrie, following the bank of the river Ericht, it's mostly under tree cover and there are ruined mills dotted along the trail, love it. #photography #walkscotland #blairgowrie #perthandKinross #scotland

Walking at the reservoir (again)

I never tire of walking at Backwater reservoir and today was definitely one of the good ones, not in birding terms because I saw or heard very little indeed but, as a good walk? Wonderful.
