A trip to the reservoir
I decided it was a perfect day for a visit to Backwater reservoir today, a wee bit overcast, bit of a breeze but warm and, a Tuesday so should be quiet up there. The car park was empty when I arrived, a good sign so, I gathered up my gear; bum-bag of snack, binoculars and camera and started up the road on the left side (as always)

A walk of two halves; a dull, cool and almost birdless walk out but, the Sun came out for the return leg and the birds & butterflies too. 👍 A Green Woodpecker was surprise of the walk 👍😊
