  4. RE: mastodon.social/@43rddemocrats

If you're a voter in WA, please take a minute to sign in PRO on HB 2641 to make it so NO ONE who works for ICE can ever work in WA law enforcement.

Doesn't fix law enforcement *cough*ACAB*cough* but at least keeps some of the "worst of the worst" out of our state.

  5. CW: US Pol, WA Democrat

With Democrats like Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, who needs Republicans?

Ashamed she represents part of WA- there isn't room in the big tent for people vote to fund the gestapo and endanger our communities. If you're not against this, you're a collaborator 🤷🏻‍♂️

  20. Dow Constantine is the presumptive new Sound Transit CEO: soundtransit.org/get-to-know-u

Even if it isn't technically a conflict of interest, it both seems borderline like one, and a missed opportunity to bring someone in who has experience running operations for a rail system.

  21. Finally got around to writing my blog post on my hacky way to generate maps showing voting turnout at a precinct level for social media/GOTV purposes

  22. I dug into my archives and found this map I made of 2016 election results aggregated by the (then) new Whatcom County council districts introduced in 2017. Gives a rough sense of the political alignment in our small county here in the northwest corner of Washington State.

I need to update this map with new data from all the elections since 2016, obviously, but it's a hassle to work with the precinct level results. Soon.
