    Seems that I can't bank on the timestamps calculated by minimp4, but need to factor in out-of-order frames using the pictures' PictureOrderCount. I'm re-calculating the timestamp once i've re-ordered pictures from the stream - this won't fly in a streaming scenario, but it works for now...

    I'm ending the week quite pleased, with a smoothly playing video. I shall happily go home & feed the protagonist. \o/

  41. It WORKS! We have a h.264 foreman decoded via vulkan video rendering at 60fps inside an Island app. I am very very happy.

    I had to add support for YcBcR conversion samplers, and immutable samplers to Island for the last push.

    All in all it took months to get here. I'm 50% done I'd say ... Now I need to clean it all up and make sure I didn't introduce any regressions, figure out edge cases and write it up. It's also missing frame-time-synchronisation ... but it WORKS 🙂 !!!
