  2. Лидер будущего: 3 компетенции руководителя 21 век

    На свете тех изменений в бизнесе (VUCA, ESG, diversity) и обществе (общее снижение агрессии, рост продолжительности жизни), что произошли в 21 веке вполне логично, что и лидер должен измениться, а значит должны измениться и компетенции руководителя бизнеса. Те компетенции, что еще недавно считались критически важными для лидера/руководителя; агрессивность, напористость, харизматичность, теперь уже не вписываются в новые условия и становятся преградой для достижения бизнесом долгосрочных результатов в 21 веке. В статье (Как изменились принципы бизнеса в XXI веке: 4 трансформации e-xecutive.ru/management/pract), описывающей трансформацию бизнеса в 21 веке, я выделил 4 основные, на мой взгляд, принципа бизнеса 21 века: 1. «Ресурсы бесконечны и не ограничены» 2. «Не конкурируй с другими, найди своего клиента» 3. «Разнообразие и мягкая иерархия – основа бизнеса» 4. «Руководитель и команда – это партнеры в поиске лучшего решения». Именно на этих 4 принципах и будет строиться система компетенций руководителя 21 века. Конечно, эти принципы ведения бизнеса еще не стали общепринятыми во всех отраслях, для этого потребуется время, но главное направление трансформации бизнеса уже понятно. И чем быстрее бизнес перейдет на адекватную внешней среде систему, тем более эффективным, а значит прибыльным он будет. А так как принципы ведения бизнеса определяются той корпоративной культурой, что построил руководитель, то роль руководителя в перестройке бизнеса 20 века в бизнес 21 века является определяющей.

    В условиях VUCA-мира (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) традиционные KPI часто становятся контрпродуктивными, провоцируя краткосрочные манипуляции, игнорируя устойчивость и адаптивность. Ключ – сбалансировать финансовые показатели с метриками устойчивости, адаптивности, инноваций и здоровья организации. Особенно критично исключить KPI, провоцирующие вредные практики.

    One thing is for sure at this moment in time - the future is going to be WILD!

    And at this moment in time, you need to move away from asking yourself why you are so slow - to asking the hard truth as to whether you are moving fast enough!

    If there is one lesson that organizations have learned through the past few years, it's that their future survival is now heavily dependent upon the flexibility they've put in place - flexibility that demands a new level of agility within their leadership team to respond to new levels of volatility! At this moment in time, it's probably a good time to double down on that flexibility through agility - given an unprecedented future, you will need to be able to shift faster. You'll need to be able to bounce back from an unprecedented level of  "VUCA - what has become known as volatility, complexity, uncertainty, and ambiguity.

    How important is it? Today and in the not-too-distant future, it's critical, because levels of VUCA have accelerated through the roof and will continue to do so. ! I've gone so far as to suggest that organizations should now consider putting in place a "Chief Resilience Officer" - someone responsible for steering the organization through an unprecedented level of VUCA.

    The future demands leadership agility. What is it? It's the ability to shift mindsets and actions rapidly according to fast-moving circumstances. I've recently concluded a research project to take a look at the elements of agility and resilience and found this quote which outlines it perfectly.

    Avoid the distraction of clarity - because going forward, there probably isn't any!
