Warning to #Discovercard customers: They’ve just started collecting #voicePrints & apparently there is no opt-out. If you call them the bot will simply announce that they are recording you for ID purposes and then it expects you speak.

#Voice #privacy seems to be an underestimated area. While #facialrecognition is already #controversial, #popular #apps like #TikTok reserve the right to create #voiceprints of their users to identify them across #videos. This #video illustrates different #risks from being too lenient with this kind of #biometric data and solutions to keep #data collectors in line.
