#VirtualM209 - the letter selector dial now added. You would use this to set the letter you want to encipher/decipher, then turn the advance handle. The cage moves the dial on several turns, changing the letter being printed onto the paper. #tnmoc #bletchleypark

Lots of work done this week on #VirtualM209, the casing is now almost completed.
The ghosted part is a CT scan of a real machine by Deutsches Museum.
Don't know about you, but I'm really excited about this one, it's looking awesome already! -

Some interesting shapes to work out, but trying to follow the Deutsches Museum CT scan as close as possible. -
Couldn't help myself - had to try creating some Hagelin M-209 rotors from the Deutsches Museum CT scans this morning. I'm thinking a #VirtualM209 is a definite possibility. #tnmoc #bletchleypark
