Evropljani rizikuju da se ovog ljeta zatvore društvene mreže Facebook i #Instagram, jer je irski regulator privatnosti udvostručio svoju naredbu da zaustavi protok podataka kompanije u Sjedinjene Države.

Irska komisija za zaštitu podataka u četvrtak je obavijestila svoje kolege u Evropi da će blokirati Metu vlasnika Facebooka da šalje korisničke podatke iz Evrope u SAD. Nacrt odluke irskog regulatora razbija posljednje pravno sredstvo Meta za prijenos velikih dijelova podataka u SAD. , nakon godina žestokih sudskih borbi između američkog tehnološkog giganta i evropskih aktivista za zaštitu privatnosti.

Evropski sud pravde je 2020. poništio sporazum EU-SAD. pakt o protoku podataka pod nazivom Privacy Shield zbog straha od američke prakse nadzora. U svojoj presudi, također je otežano korištenje drugog pravnog alata koji Meta i mnoge druge američke firme koriste za prijenos ličnih podataka u SAD, a koje se nazivaju standardne ugovorne klauzule (SCC). Ovosedmična odluka iz Irske znači da je #Facebook primoran da prestane da se oslanja i na SCC.

#Bosnia and #Herzegovina (BiH), as a partner country, has been invited to the upcoming NATO summit to be held in Madrid on June 29th and 30th.

The delegation from BiH will be led by Defense Minister Sifet Podzic, and the summit will bring together NATO leaders in the Spanish capital to discuss important issues which the Alliance is facing.

Besides Podzic, the delegation will include General Ivica Jerkic, Brigadier Edin Fako, BiH Ambassador to #Spain Danka Savic,and Chief of Staff Defense Minister Kemal Korjenic.

Namely, the two-day gathering in Madrid will set NATO’s strategic direction for the next decade and beyond, ensuring that the Alliance continues to adapt to a changing world and keeps a billion people from member states safe.

Despite the fact that BiH is not a member of NATO, the North Atlantic Alliance has long recognized our country as a key partner in the Balkans, especially during the Russian aggression in Ukraine.

“BiH is a valued partner for NATO. We support your sovereignty and integrity and remain committed to Euro-Atlantic aspirations. NATO supports peace and stability in BiH. Our dialogue and cooperation are more important than ever because of the Russian war in Ukraine and malignant influence in the region,” Stoltenberg said last month after meeting with BiH Presidency Chairman Sefik Dzaferovic.

Ahead of the summit in Madrid, Jens Stoltenberg noted that NATO will declare that Russia is no longer a partner, but a threat to security, peace, and stability.

Phenomenal #BiH swimmer Lana Pudar reaffirmed her quality and delighted the public in #Bosnia and #Herzegovina with her new #success at the World Championships in Large Pools in #Budapest.

Namely, Lana took an excellent sixth place in today’s final race in the 200 meter dolphin.

She swam the race in a time of 2: 07.85, which was enough for the sixth position in the #competition of eight swimmers.

The young 16-year-old from #Mostar was the second youngest participant in the finals after Summer McIntosh from Canada, who is only 15 years old. It was the Summer who became the world #champion with a time of 2: 05.20.
