But that one moment, the one they always use in the replay clips. Man, even now and even totally out of context I'm not ashamed to admit it makes my heart skip a beat.

We're at Song 8 #Vidbir #Eurovision with Angelina "Stronger" going for a more heartfelt number of the younger generation doing their best to ;be young' in Ukraine in this time of war.

So we're getting a 3/4/3 song split in the #Vidbir broadcast, with commercial breaks for the TV broadcast and special moments for the online audience of #eurovision fans around the world and extra studio interviews!

Kolyskova was absolutely gorgeous. A haunting melody, and that harp (was that a bandura?) was beautiful.

#Vidbir #Eurovision Song 6, Krutь "Kolyskova", goes for a rather haunting sound, and feels like a story built around lost or longing (You don't always need to wait for the translation, music is art and art can be as subjective as you want.)

A delightful crash of noise in #Vidbir #eurovision Song 5 Fiinka "Dovbush". Is it for everyone, very much not,, but it's fantastic that once again UAPBC are brining a wide range of styles to the National Final

The sound of a metro train rumbling by in the background reminds me how extraordinary it is that this show is happening. It's a great-looking production, too. Everyone at Suspilne should be so proud of what they've achieved here, in the most difficult of circumstances.
