Too bad I didn't post this earlier in the week, as I had a couple more 5 star movies on my list.

  2. Perhaps one of the more famous Russ Meyer films is the pseudo-sequel to Jacqueline Susann's Valley of the Dolls. Beyond the Valley of the Dolls isn't just a kind of funny title, or a studio film for Meyer, it was written by famous movie critic Roger Ebert.

At least you had a thought as to what you were. A stabilising thing even if found to be not what you expected. I had no idea. Never felt like I agreed with any of it apart from thinking I was an earthling only to find that no one else seem to act like they thought the same way.

  6. @vegafilm I was blithely reading #ValleyOfTheDolls (a best-selling adult, trollopy trash heap of a saucy, racy, sex riddled, sexist, qwap-lit novel in the 1960s by #JacquelineSusann--sorry JS), when my father asked if I understood what it was all about because it was possibly to old for ne and I replied: of course I understand! (I didn't)...so I read it to the end in one sitting. And its awful dung like quality kept me from chick lit forever after, so thanks Susann and lawless Dad...
