    Two things:
    - I successfully defended my PhD dissertation on Friday! Maybe I can finally start having a life again...
    - I'm in ABQ for US-RSE'24 ( @us_rse) and compiled this Google Maps list (46 places!) from the "What to do in ABQ" presentation by Miranda Mundt posted ~three weeks ago. Thanks Miranda for the great recommendations!

    Interesting talk from Daniel S. Katz about @us_rse. It looks like a lot of great grassroots activity. But it's a shame that organisations promoting openness use Zoom, YouTube, Slack, Google Drive rather then open source alternatives. Not a criticism of the US-RSE specifically; this seems to be commonplace. #USRSE #RSECon23 #OpenSource #RSE

    How does it all work? Aside from workflows in our Jobs repository, most of the magic lies with github.com/rseng/jobs-updater/, a tool I put together that still is driving the #USRSE
