This means there's no baseload demand anchor for LNG in the Chinese energy mix. And with lots more non-LNG (ie cheaper) gas in 🇨🇳 competing for the same outlets, there's potential for structural excess. The easiest way to deal with that is divert flexible #USLNG cargoes to 🇪🇺

Why? LNG cargoes are chasing profits, and there are slim pickings in Asia.
