Adding to the horrors of recent weeks, I had to spend the last three days in an intensive neurological care unit in hospital.

I noticed that the right side of my face was not working anymore, so I went to the ER. They immediately took an MRI scan and admitted me to the ICU for the last three days. Initially, they thought it was a stroke, but now we are treating it as "Bell's palsy", an inflammation of the seventh cranial nerve that causes paralysis. It's not pleasant.

I used the last of my donated money to pay for the medication. I would be grateful for any help! Please share, and if you can, donate.

If the symptoms do not clear up within the next 5–7 days, I will have to go back, and since I am suspended from my insurance, they will bill me for everything privately.
