So a follow-up to the #printer saga at #UofSC #Aiken. I was able to finally print, but it was not thanks to their #IT department. I had to reach out to a friend in another college's IT department and they told me what to do. Seems that the college only uses old macOS devices and the new ones have a Limit IP feature you have to turn off. Being a nice person, I sent their IT department all the instructions. Did I get a thanks? NOPE!

I have worked in #IT and with #computers for over 25 years. But the #UofSC #Aiken IT staff thinks that being condescending is the way to address students. What happened to professionalism? What happened to common understanding? Guess they no longer exist in our world.
