The instant on-demand Atomic CSS engine. UnoCSS is an engine instead of a framework because there are no core utilities - all the functionalities are provided via presets or inline configurations. We are imagining UnoCSS being able to simulate the functionalities of most of the existing atomic CSS frameworks. And possibly have been used as the engine to create some new atomic CSS frameworks!

Oy gevalt, how do these kids do it?
Jumping into #webdevelopment many years later, after having left behind a pretty substantial CSS2 pedigree, when #HTML was all you had and #JQuery was all the rage, I've come to the conclusion that we've gone too far - again.
I learned a little #TailwindCSS, but now I'm looking into #UnoCSS. I'm building a #Vite app, but some people have implemented #Nuxt AND #Astro with it?
You people are nuts. Leave me alone!

Nearly three years after excitedly sharing @antfu's "Reimagine Atomic CSS" in all the (many) developer channels in my then-employer's chat, I've finally spent time with UnoCSS. It's amazing.
I wasn't sure what it was.
It's is a tool for writing your own take on Tailwind. Create a CSS DOM API using your own class name patterns.
It ships with a port of Tailwind, so switching on a new project is easy.

I'm coding a sensor dashboard with a new graph visualization library that I found: Unovis https://unovis.dev
It is based on D3, and supports crosshair lines AND tooltips for peeking values 😍. I'm using it along with Svelte and UnoCSS, a nice combo 👍.

The other project I have in mind would be a #vue #component #framework that is based on #tailwind / #Unocss, supports theming out of the box and uses e.g. #vue's #generic from https://github.com/vuejs/rfcs/discussions/436 to e.g. better type `DataTables`
The name of that framework could be `Vueperlativ` which is the combination of Vue and Superlativ 😅 -

The more I use it, the more I like it: #atomic #CSS. 💛
Feels like a very efficient, and consistent DSL to make things look good.
Kudos to #tailwind for making it mainstream and driving «standardization».
Also hats off to very promising and lightweight alternatives like #windicss https://windicss.org and #unocss https://github.com/unocss/unocss, which seem to be pushing the boundaries.
