Evangelical missionaries have directly caused the deaths of hundreds of uncontacted Indigenous people who had no immunity to diseases like measles & flu. They’re also the thin end of the wedge leading to theft of Indigenous lands, and the destruction of Indigenous cultures & languages.

⚠️ Urgent action needed to support Peru’s #UncontactedTribes
The Peruvian Congress is debating a new bill which aims to:
• Make it possible to revoke already-established Indigenous reserves for uncontacted and recently-contacted tribes.
• Open the territories of uncontacted tribes to oil and gas drilling, logging and mining.
• Block the creation of desperately-needed reserves ...If it comes into law it will be a disaster “The Genocide Bill.”
