OK. Those of you who don't PVR adverts away. Does anyone know why there are two versions of the Cadbury advert where the young woman in Japan has received a package from her little siste in the UK
In otherwise identical adverts the colour of the envelope changes. In one its a regular brown envelope with a par avion sticker on it. In the other it's a purple envelope with cadbury branding on it?

Florian's post reminded me of the 1979 UK series Danger UXB, created by John Hawkesworth and John Whitney (creators of Upstairs, Downstairs; The Flame Trees of Thika; & The Duchess of Duke Street).
I saw it a few years ago (on Acorn maybe? I don't remember now).
Whether the series is your cup of tea or not, the pilot has some great writing. I recommend it for TV- and film writers.

I never watched any of the classic 60s Brit TV series of The Avengers (I was note familiar with the 70s New Avengers) until circa early 2000s and by then it was owned by Studio Canal which initially puzzled me but the French loved the original series apparently.

We have really enjoyed #SNLUK these past two weeks. It is great fun and know a decent number of the cast because we watch a good amount of #UKTV. #American #satirical #comedy just seems too bleak and sad to watch and enjoy. We have enjoyed #ThisHourHas22Minutes but #SNL is just a bit more edgy and cutting. Great stuff #SaturdayNightLiveUK keep it up!
