Really enjoyed Only Murders in the Building S5 - the story of the victim was genuinely sad, the rest pushed the silly factor far but without tipping over into too much, and I enjoyed how they played with fine details deliberately not making sense in episode 2. Still good, hope it carries on being good in future seasons.
But it feels a long time to any more of it - anything scratching that same itch out there?

How weird will it be to look at good TV (or other media) with people who've since fallen into disgrace.
I thought about Nordic noir recently - huge in the 2010s in the UK, a consistent niche since.
And I thought about Staged - the lockdown Zoom comedy (it's good) and the S3 episode with Neil Gaiman having a Nordic noir obsession.
How weird will that be to rewatch? Or the old Big Fat Quiz episodes with Russell Brand in. Will it still be funny knowing what they did?

Rather enjoying #Murderbot on #telly. Feels like a faithful adaptation of the book. Snarky detached narration is spot on. Excerpts of #TV shows watched by the titular Murderbot are as hammy as expected. I don't remember the side plot of the throuple being in the book, but watching that slowly amble towards implosion is fun too.

If you're a fan of espionage, thriller, and depictions of farting on-screen, and you've not watched Slow Horses, you really should. It's on the way to winning some awards. Farting included.
It's more The Sandbaggers than James Bond or any of that other nonsense.
