Sigh. There was a time when there were politicians and journalists, even clergymen, who had the integrity and the courage to question and challenge orthodoxies.
Now it's left to footballers, food writers and Martin Lewis.There can be no clearer sign that we need root and branch reform of the governance of the UK and we need it *now*.
