自分を労うための昼食。今日は、2 か国で申告義務のある外国人として、毎年恒例の確定申告という長い冒険の最初のハードルを乗り越えました。その後、近くの鹿肉専門ジビエレストランでお祝いしました。鹿肉のミネストローネとライ麦パン、自家製シフォンケーキを少し食べ、自家製ハーブティーをいただきました。おいしいポテトサラダはサービスでした。また来ます。

"A taxing lunch." Today I jumped over the first hurdle in my long annual adventure of filing taxes as an expat. Afterwards I went to celebrate at a nearby restaurant that specializes in venison. I tried their venison minestrone with some rye bread and a small slice of their homemade chiffon cake all washed down with a tasty house herbal tea. They gifted me a taste of their wonderful potato salad. "I'll be back" (famous last words of Douglas McArthur).
