@helenczerski In my thermodynamics lectures, I remind students that a horsepower is 750 W. Given that a human can deliver 200 W that makes a horse equivalent to four slaves. So 200 W is one slave power (Sp). Your kettle is around 10 Sp… Your post will be a good addition to that train of thought. In fact, it makes for a really good guided Fermi question. #OTZ #UCLChem001x
