Long weekend very well spent visiting Bavaria and Austria for the Krampusläufe. A little bit of mountain time around the Königsee and Hallstatt was just what the doctor ordered. The Krampi, Häxen, and Buttnmandeln were all incredible! You can tell people take a lot of pride in the costumes, they are so detailed.

Last weekend, I went on a quiet November tour in the Karwendel near Hinterriß. The air was exceptionally clear, and I did not encounter a single person along the entire route. The view was dominated by the striking Falken Group, whose layered Wetterstein limestone stood out sharply in the low autumn light.
