I was having some trippy dreampunk-type dreams last night, and there was a bit right before I woke up that struck me as pretty funny and sweet.

I was having some kind of repeated-life experience where at the end of my life I'd start back over as a baby, but I was able to retain some memory of at least one previous life. This nearly amounts to knowing the future, but the more you do differently, the less you'll know because the future will diverge from your previous life.

There was a woman I was meeting for the first time. I knew that in my previous life we'd been married, and it had started with watching this particular movie together. But I was giving too much away and on the verge of scaring her off by saying stuff like this:

"When you saw this before [the movie], it was a big deal. We loved each other—it! … It was a date; we saw it together."
