I tried out #trepang2. It’s simultaneously a very serious and a very silly game, where you’re some kind of a super soldier running rings around supposedly elite troops.
I’m not sure it’s for me, though; My hands hurt after the intro level.

i picked up #trepang2 and it's actually one of the most fun shooters i've ever played. imagine if payday 2 was merged with the f.e.a.r series and it actually empowered you to have fun. and the soundtrack goes so fucking hard. highly recommended.

Ihr könnt den Anfang spielen, nachdem ihr dann aber die #Peitsche aufgehoben habt kommt es zu extremen #Lags und #Framerate_Einbrüchen bis hin zu einem so vollständigen #Absturz der #Konsole dass nur das Unterbrechen der Stromzufuhr hilft. Kauft euch lieber #Trepang2, macht eh mehr Spaß.

horizon's biggest mistake in trepang2 lore clearly was using red as their accent color
tf27 knew their shit and used blue to be automatically more trustworthy
ok I'm talking about trepang2 lore so I gotta reiterate for the billionth time that I love how the game exploits preconceptions in your head (red=bad, corporation=evil) to make you think you're on the good guys' side when you're probably not

yesterday I bought and finished the trepang2 dlc missions, wow the locations' art direction is actually quite the step up, particularly in the tf63 base

just to illustrate how insanely good the gameplay and OST of trepang2 are, I've finished the game and have replayed most of the missions once already, and I'm doing it again at the second hardest difficulty in the span of a couple weeks
also spent 2-3 hours total in horde mode to unlock skins probably

the campaign would be EXCELLENT weren't it for a couple blemishes being (1) the 2nd mission which is kinda meh compared to every other mainline one, and (2) the side missions, a few of which are essentially copypasted tower defense missions which get old really fast (and also EXTREMELY tedious sometimes, I spent 2 or more hours clearing the iron dragon hacking one on very hard)
still the side missions absolutely have some reason to be played, that being the weapon parts that come in handy from time to time
