Ich wurde von #Atomfall positiv überrascht. Es sieht nett aus, versprüht britischen Charme und ich habe trotz der Vergleiche eigentlich nie an Fallout gedacht. Trotz einer kurzen Spieldauer (~15 Stunden) hat man als Spieler viele Freiheiten, wie die Geschichte vorangebracht und Fährten verfolgt werden sollen (Alle NPCs können, keiner muss getötet werden). Die Story ist recht interessant und man verzettelt sich dank der relativ kleinen Welt nicht so sehr.

Well, I've played #Atomfall through to one of its possible endings - what a great game! It really rewards you scoping out the situation & working out whether a fight is worth it, exploring & finding little gems of info, plus it's really beautiful - looking forward to diving in again in the future!

Inizialmente l'ho giudicato male, paragonandolo a Fallout. Atomfall è molto di più: un affascinante RPG investigativo ambientato nell'inquietante Cumbria degli anni '60. Combattimento solo per indizi. Sorpresa!

As a fan of the Fallout/Stalker/RPG/ImSim sphere of games, I had heard that there is something called Atomfall, and I think I saw it in some kind of Upcoming Games compilation a long time ago, but somehow I've not heard anything about it since its release.

Has anyone I know played Atomfall? The game looks amazing, but early reviews said it was really glitchy. Anybody played it lately and have news about patches?

As a personal note, I'm excited #Atomfall received the award for the best international game.

It has a wide range of great accessibility features and options, which were developed with an in-house specialist as well as several consultants.

But it doesn't just impress with its accessibility: The setting is unusual, the worldbuilding well done, you can encounter plenty of quirky characters and it's an open world game set in a rather confined area... So while there's a lot of opportunity for exploration, you don't need hundreds of hours to see everything.

There are certainly some flaws – the inconsistent enemy AI and tedious item management being the most obvious ones – but I genuinely enjoyed my 25+ hours of playtime despite being no fan of gun-heavy first-person games in general. And honestly, I prefer a game with character and some rough edges over a highly polished, but stale AAA blockbuster anytime.
