In on-screen canon, you are correct, just one appearance.
However, ‘Die Standing’ by John Jackson Miller is an official #StarTrekDiscovery tie-in #trekbook. The authors of those books are given access to the show’s bible.
Miller was tasked to write about #Geogiou’s journey of adaptation to the Prime Universe that took place between seasons 1 & 2 of #Disco. Emory #Dax was a key character in that transition. So I have been hoping to see Dax onscreen in S31.

Coda: Book 1 (Moments Asunder) is not very well written. Especially for being such an important book, part of an important trilogy. Overall this #TrekBook has been disappointing so far. The constant attempts to display details of what is going on in the text is like attempting to be literary and failing badly. It is as though it is written by an amateur, which I know the author is not. #StarTrek #bookstodon
