So a successful foraging experience. A spike from the biggest pine cone bit me enough to bleed. And i got a work out carrying them around the park. Gave them away to someone who's been generously sharing gardening knowledge (and occasional fresh produce).

Couldn't see any bunya pine cones up in the trees in the park, waiting to fall. So may have to wait till next season for more bush tucker cooking adventures. #park #walk #TreesOfFediverse #BunyaPine #BunyaNut #cooking #BushTucker
