Trying to build writerly camaraderie that is not (a) dopamine/algorithm based and (b) one that recognizes that with a full time job, kids, relationship, and (oh yeah) doggedly trying to find time to write, how to bake this into my life in a way that’s asymmetrical and occasional, and has room for both sadness (ie no ‘toxic positivity’) and joy. Being a trans woman both enriches and complicates this of course.
