There is one conversation I had with Fatima that connected her #feminist #struggle to my mothers' on an individual basis. But mostly pointed out the #transectional need and importance of #feminism. And I had the privilige of being a witness and a confidant.
Fatima arrived in Europe in the late sixties to work in a facory. She took her first salary to a bank to open an account. Much to her astonishment, she couldn't do that without her husband cosingning. 3/
