To create a #cinematic whoosh, you could take a gun-shot, explosion or reverberant snare or other impact; ensure that there is no silence at the beginning of the clip you're working with; copy it to the clipboard; reverse it; and paste the clipboard copy, which will be the right way round, at the end.
