Good morning from Minneapolis where we've light drizzle, fog, and mist to start the weekend. Static on the radio.
Quite early Saturday morning it's 69 degrees; muggy; a Fair barometer; visibility one mile at the airport.
NWS Chanhassen: The rest of the week will feature increased NW/W flow, ushering in a more seasonable airmass for early September.
Pepper, the Australian kelpie we borrow from friends, is spending the long weekend here at the white pine retirement home. He's arguably the best dog.
I ran into some old friends at the state fair on Monday and Friday this week; it's surprising how often that happens given the huge crowds. We simply ignore the tens of thousands of people we _don't_ know. Human nature.
I also saw a million-dollar tractor. A million dollars doesn't seem to go as far as it once did.
