Finally built the exercise bike… I feel like a failure… the plan was to leave it in the box for 28 days and return it, so I could say I at least tried one. 😂 Ahem.
Anyway, had a ride this morning using #mywhoosh app and it was actually fun. Used my MacBook (M1) and it ran very smoothly.
Only issue was the initial bluetooth connection. Found my bike model first go, but didn’t connect all 3 sensors, so it wouldn’t go anywhere when I pedalled. Restarted the app, and it worked.
I was free-riding around #Dubai apparently, for about 7km, at an average speed of 36km/h. The course was flat (okay 7m total rise, but that’s flat to a #scotland boy) so it was an easier ride. Took under 11 minutes, but didn’t want to push it on day one.
I can see this getting addictive…
