Jools Topp has left the stage.
"Jools Topp, one-half of New Zealand’s celebrated double-act the Topp Twins, has died peacefully at her home.
"She passed away on Saturday with her twin sister Lynda, brother Bruce, close friends and her pets by her side, following a 22-year journey with breast cancer."

Perhaps this is more rural music than country music, but it seems to me that shares a nostalgia and a sense of loss for the good olds days you often find in country music. And it is quintessentially about country life in Aotearoa. I love it.
