@voorstad daar gaat iets niet helemaal lekker zie ik. Maar goed op die site staan allemaal linkjes naar Twitter enzo, maar geen linkje naar je #mastodon account.

I'm working to add #Tootpick

to my website, which is statically built. I need some way to add a Tootpick link to each permalink, and I want to do it client-side via JavaScript (Tootpick needs JS anyway). So I need to add this JS to all the webpages, and I'm having #choiceParalysis on how to do it. Modify the base page template, or add a builder setup option?

(TBF, this is partially the fault of my builder, #ikiwiki, which isn't really friendly on this side of things).

@aallan and yet at the bottom of the article no ‘mastodon’ sharing button provided by something like #tootpick but only buttons to data hungry big tech companies.

And when you enter that page you are greeted by 3(!!) pop-up banners.

Misschien is het ‘techneut zoekt ontwerper’ ding van #SIDNfonds daar ook wel een goede plek voor. Kun je die vraag ‘hoe maak ik het bekender’ gewoon aan iemand anders over laten. 😎

Sinds ik #tootpick heb gemaakt, valt het me op hoeveel sites wel uitgebreid schrijven over Mastodon, maar enorme koudwatervrees hebben qua zelf eraan meedoen.

Hoe kan ik veel mensen bereiken om ze te vertellen dat #tootpick bestaat zonder dat het al te spammerig wordt? Het is namelijk inmiddels gewoon "af" (voor zover software ooit af is) en er zijn nog 'n boel blogs en nieuwssites met deellinkjes waar Mastodon ontbreekt...
