Sharing some tombstones yours truly clicked at the Kohima war cemetery. There was a solitary one for a 6 year old ‘soldier’ too - perhaps working for the mess hall.
Engraving on the tombstones for Hindus was in Devanagari while those of Muslims in Urdu. Brits/Scots/Christians were written in English. Will share the coat of arms in another post. I was told that the maintenance cost is picked up by the Commonwealth and not the Indian government.
Kohima = Capital of the Northeastern Indian state of Nagaland.
