#PIP review has some positives, but as ever full of uncertainties. #TimmsReview

"Evidence to the review suggests cuts to wider public services, long waits for NHS treatment, a decline in healthy life expectancy pulling more working-age people into ill health, and soaring living costs may have helped drive the rise in Pip claims"
NOT more young people with poor mental health as many claimed.

Just chatting to my disabled activist friend about fact that it’s been reported that the Timms Review on #PIP will now apparently report before summer recess of Parliament.
He was suprised as the deadline for the workshops that inform the Review is 17th July:
How does this work when summer Parliamentary recess begins on 16th July:

Kangeroo court?

Tomorrow, whilst the media is busy scrutinising the #Budget, the #DWP will publish the #TimmsReview the promised framework review of how #PIP is measured.
Given that the DWP has chosen budget day to release this, one is led to think the changes are not positive.
(Keep an eye out for other announcements tomorrow - there may be the result of the #PalestineAction judicial review being announced; although that is more likely to be on the Thursday)
